Christmas Lights.

One of the garden Centres we use had a special offer weekend with 20% off for club members.  As a result we decided to go and see if there was anything in the Christmas decorations for our Lodge (we have people in at Christmas and New Year).  As we wandered round Clickychick returned to a  water feature she has been yearning after but felt couldn't justify the expense.

We decided that with 20% off it could be her Christmas present.  So a young man was dispatched to retrieve one from a top shelf.  We also bought a potted Korean Fir at not much more than the price of a Christmas Tree and it can be planted out later.  When paying for them the girl at the till pointed out we had saved more than we had spent.  It was at that point we discovered the water feature was on sale at half price.

This shot is of neither of our purchase.  One of the decorations on show was artificial trees with built in lights.  I took a shot and was very unimpressed, so on a whim I put them out of focus and I find the result quite pleasing.  CC was astounded and I quote "you don't take pictures of nothing".
