Company!

The day began badly! When I switched the computer on I was greeted by a black screen saying bootmsg missing! So I switched off and carried on with the day. Today was the second day of my epic leaf clearance at the lodge.

We arrived mid morning and CC started preparing the window frames for a new coat of stain and I tackled yet more leaves. I soon realised I had company - no not CC but this little Fella. Guess where the camera was? Your right, inside. So I risked going in to get it and put it on the table nearby.

The Robin was soon back. I took a few shots which I was quite pleased with. Then it moved away to the top of the bank and I got on with raking. The next time I became aware of it it was on a post about 6 or 7 feet away. More shots.

I decided I needed to get on and moved back to my pile of leaves half way between the post it was on and the camera. It didn't move! Back to the camera and forward to the leaves. Of these shots this one of the gust of wind catching the feathers appealed most.

While this was going on at the other end of the lodge they were busy laying tarmac.

During the evening I kicked the computer a number of times and swore even more but I have finally managed to breath life back into the machine.
