Winkle pickers..

..and not the shoes of the 60's (do you remember?)..

I should think they're perishingly cold, out there in the weather, searching through wet seaweed. But they're worth good money, a 25 kg sack is worth about £140! They're hand picked, and stored in nets in the water, before being sold to a dealer. These people are camping in an old van by the cemetery. So not hot bath after..

The sea has been settling during the day from being quite wild this morning.

Spent the day clearing the glass, and then replacing the panes, the greenhouse is now intact again. All glass is stuck in with mastic..
