Sewing Update

With another soggy day outside it was back to the sewing machine this afternoon. I've learnt several new things and I've decided that a 34in inside leg is ridiculous - because sewing up the outer seam just goes on and on and on................

I'm also really bad at cutting out! Which made for a "fun" time trying to pin the pieces together. But pinned together the pieces were. Then onto the technical bit of filling a bobbin, threading the machine (getting ok with that bit), and then sewing in a straight line.  Mum took pity on me and did the curvy bit round the crotch :-)

Tomorrow I get to try on the work in progress and see what we need to tweak.
