2015 Thursday -- Favorite Book

Our daughter recently pulled this book from her collection to show us that she had saved it all these years. It originally was a gift that I gave to our son, her older brother, for Christmas 1977 when he was 12 years old.

I had written inside the front cover that it was a favorite story and that I remember my fourth grade teacher reading it aloud to our class when I was a youngster.
