Sun Run

I ended up being stuck in Ediburgh fo longer than intended this evening due to flooding, lightning, leaf on the line etc.

Travelling down the East Coast Mainline, the sun began to set. The closer to home I got the more beautiful it became (oxymoronic eh?) and I called a taxi for the very short journey to my house so I could dash in, get the camera and dash out again before it disappeared.

It dissapeared the second I came out with the camera, I actually saw it fade!

So, what you have here is a very moody cloud bank behind bass rock (oxymoronic again) which is my first attempt at a landscape/seascape with the borrowed camera.

I called Dad to ask how to make it zoom in to be told I needed to go home and change the lens. I just didn't have the energy but I'll remember that next time!
