Hard Materials Technology Project

As part of T's NCEA Level 1 Hard Materials Technology, he had to design a project and then using that design, build it.  T decided he needed a desk for his outside bedroom.  What I didn't realise when he started was how big this desk was going to be!

The desk top is made from recycled rimu (from the school buildings that are currently been demolished), and the side legs are made from oak.  He has done a fantastic job - the varnished grain looks amazing!
