Contrasts.
A very different morning with blue skies and no rain though still a (cool) fresh wind.
It was good to get up on the moors with clear views all round and away from the flooded valleys. Even here there was quite a lot of standing water and beyond the ridge seen here, in the Aire Valley, we could see extensive water in the flood plain of the valley floor.
I chose this shot as I liked the contrasts; heather (Harden) moor in the foreground; the green grazing with the sheep and beyond the hidden valley, Bingley/Morton Moor topped by blue skies.
It's a bit cloudier now and we've had some rain so it was good to make the most of it while it lasted.
