Golden canopy.
A mizzly morning for a walk but we went up Goit Stock to the waterfall. Still quite a lot of colour from the leaves as seen here.
Fortuitous really as my blip from a year ago yesterday https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2112601018549142350
showed the same waterfall in full spate after very heavy rain. The Beck side paths were completely inundated. This was the start of the floods suffered in various areas last winter. The impact of which us still being felt in several places today. Worst hit last November were Cumbria and parts of Scotland.
Returning from Hallas Bridge someone had made a flower pattern from beech leaves on a mossy rock - extra.
The rain was worse once we got back but whilst at Pilates this afternoon it brightened up but it is much cooler.
