Good to be back

A brief respite from the work was  a trip to Marazion. Occasioned in the main by the alleged presence there of a Hudsonian Whimbrel - very rare but the word alleged is used as we had neither sight nor sound of it, and neither had the various other assembled slightly grumpy birders there.
It was however good to be out and about in Cornwall again - the lushness of everything here is in stark contrast to the Hebrides.
