Chicken With Black Beans at Chopstix

We used to love eating at Chopstix as their food was always fresh and tasty and made from good quality ingredients. Then suddenly the food went downhill and we stopped eating there as it was so disappointing.

This week I was invited to Chopstix for lunch and was told it was under new ownership and the food was good again. They were right!

On the strength of lunch we went there for dinner on tonight. Big mistake. We were the only people there apart from people waiting for takeout. The ambiance was non-existent and they had a radio blaring out a radio station playing "music for teenagers". We should have cut our losses and left. Then we discovered they no longer serve alcohol. Yikes could it get any worse? We waited ages for our food and when it finally arrived it was tasty and good quality (thank goodness), but served on cold plates. Sigh. One of my pet peeves over here!

So a good place for lunch or take away, but never again for a Saturday night out!
