The design at the centre of a Gazania

I decided on this close up of the centre of a gazania, after blipping a few flowers in the neighbourhood.
These beautiful yellow gazanias are doing their best to survive in the planters at the railway station. They have been tested by extreme rainfall and strong wind, but they are so resillient and add beauty to the station.
The torrential rain here yesterday was awesome and exceptionally more than usual for nearly half an hour.
It was pretty concerning to say the least, as the road into Rishton from the roundabout was awash with surface water.
All is calm again and Maria begins her Summer holiday from college this afternoon.
