Sunshine After The Rain

A busy morning today - I had an early dental appointment - just a checkup and all clear. Dentist suggested that I only need to go at 9 month intervals instead of 6. Is this a new NHS target?

The I went to the supermarkets for the big shop! Once home I cooked some chicken drumsticks for lunch, made a pan of curry (lamb rogan josh) and made a batch of mince pies!

After lunch we went for our walk and got drenched - twice. This was the scene after the first shower passed - moving away from the camera. The sun popped out briefly, illuminating the silver birch and producing a faint rainbow.

Mince pies are good. Curry for tea and some to freeze.!
