A Golden Goodnight

After a long day of heavy skies and intermittent rain, I drove to the store to replenish my yogurt supply. It was good to get out...to connect with humankind in a busy store, and to be wished a safe trip home by the lovely young man at checkout. He kind of reminded me of my son, Vanja, whose birthday it is. We had planned on lunch today, but he had to cancel until tomorrow.

The sky had cleared so I chose to drive home via East beach. No Music this time, but the sky was a delicious golden around a vanishing sun. I took five shots, and found this one with its little extra sun...or sunspot...or whatever. How could I not share this glimpse of Heaven?
