Cottage By The Beck

This little cottage (not so little after a recent extension) is situated right next to the beck at the end of the woods that we walk through regularly.

Now that most of the leaves have dropped from the trees it is more visible from the path. This shot is taken from the bridge (an old farm trailer bed) over the beck.

The water was quite fast flowing, so the relatively slow shutter speed has smoothed the surface giving a partial reflection.

I went to Bradford today to meet up with some former work colleagues for lunch (a very nice buffet at the Aagrah Indian restaurant). It was good to catch up - not so good to hear that not much has changed in the five years since I left.

Our granddaughter arrived to stay for a couple of nights - so I am babysitting all day tomorrow!
