Christmas Spirit

Thanks for all the comments, stars and hearts on my Blip yesterday - all appreciated! Carpet samples have been collected this afternoon and are now scattered around the floor to be viewed in various different lights.

One of the cars was in for service and MOT today so after dropping it off at the garage we carried on over to Waddesdon Manor where there was a Christmas market going on. We knew it was not going to be great weather but when we left home it was fine and not too cold. As we drove over it started to rain and the closer we got to Waddesden the harder the rain came down. By the time we got there it was cold and really was chucking it down so there was a distinct lack of Christmas spirit but we persevered. The market was fine but we didn't buy anything and then headed down to the Christmas shop in the stables where we found 'Santa's Workshop' and of course, somewhere to park his reindeer. All very nicely done but the weather didn't help, so it was back to John Lewis in MK for a sandwich and to collect the aforementioned carpet samples.

And the car? It passed, but with a strong warning that four new tyres are required. Next month.......
