Captured Feather
A gentle rain was falling for most of the day but still very mild for November.
I managed a couple of walks in the forest with the macro lens, having a break for lunch in order to dry off.
I found this small wet feather caught on a twig during the afternoon walk and was drawn to the pure white and the clinging water drops. It was pretty near dark at this time but I had brought with me a small LED light which boosted the light levels much like a fill in flash. When enlarged its reflection can be seen in the water drops.
Showing that there is no such thing as bad weather just different light I came back to the log cabin with a card full of wet but atmospheric images.
