Autumn Colour in Borthwood

We are very lucky on the Island to have several areas of woodland to rival the New Forest.

I walked through Borthwood today to see how the colours were progressing. Although many of the trees have lost their leaves due to high winds there are still some spectacular displays to be seen.

However due to the recent huge amounts of rainfall wellingtons with a good grip are needed on the muddy and slippery footpaths.
