Canyoning!

Today I did the craziest, most dangerous thing I've ever done. I went canyoning. It's very physically demanding and you put trust into your instructor. When we went there was a hike to the site and we were surrounded with trees. Then we declined off of the cliff which was a grey hard rock. Then we went into high rapids and jumped across them. The water was freezing cold and you had to watch your fingers or else they might lose feeling for good. This was one of those moments where you think "Wow, I'm actually doing this in New Zealand." The surrounds were so beautiful! There were birds everywhere, but I saw an eagle that was so majestic. I'm so lucky to be doing this.
