Queenstown Botanical Gardens

Today we explored the Queenstown Botanical Gardens. Right when you walk in there is a huge Silver Fern (the symbol of New Zealand). To the right there was the huge body of water that was parting the Remarkables. There was somewhat of a beach, but it was a rock beach instead of a sand beach. Within the gardens there was so many beautiful hills filled with beautiful flowers and trees that were rich in green. There were ponds with fountains and ducks all around. We fed them bread and got swarmed by ducks of all kinds! Also, within the gardens were swings that I failed to go over. The gardens were definitely a symbol of New Zealand's history of plants since almost all of the plants here were imported by England.
