Auckland
I arrived to the North Island of New Zealand. And let me tell you, the North Island is so different from the South Island! The whole area was flat and a lot more city-like than nature-like. The major difference was the diversity. In the South Island there are white, Asian, and very few blacks. In the North Island there are races and ethnicities of all kinds. Auckland is known for accepting everyone no matter of where they come from. You can find any type of restaurant you want there ( I had Mexican food). And compared to the South Island they had cars everywhere! Most of the cars they had were small four door cars. You can compare Auckland to a smaller, less extravagant version of Sydney. The schools there make their children wear uniforms which is similar to the South Island. I also found that it was common for them to have an all boys or girls school. Also the people there, from my experience, tend to be in more of a hurry and a rude attitude about them. Obviously not all of them are like this, but maybe it was because it was a city. I did enjoy the experience of exploring a new city.
