Moored in the Shallows
5.7C with rain all morning then light showers through the afternoon. Light breeze. Cold.
Apothecary7 and I took Maeve the Deerhound to the vet at 9am. Probable UTI. Antibiotic and painkiller.
We went into Dundee, had tea/coffee and croissants in M&S cafe, and bought a few grocery bits and bobs. We decided it was far too rainy for a walk up to the Howff.
After lunch we took Maeve for a walk. We went down the shore road and over the road bridge over the railway to Westhaven beach. The tide was almost fully out. Surprisingly, Valhalla A was moored in the shallows in the channel through the rocks. I went out on the rocks to get a picture.
We came back over the road bridge over the railway then carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home. Heating on in the house this afternoon to keep Maeve warm.
