St Andrews in Silhouette from the West Sands
10.3C bright and sunny all day long. Light to moderate breeze.
Apothercary7, Maeve the Deerhound and I had a lovely day trip to St Andrews.
We had a walk along the West sands out towards the Eden estuary. The tide was part way out and there was lots of firm sand to walk on. There was hardly a cloud in the sky,the sea was a deep sparkly blue, and there was just enough breeze to lift spray off the incoming waves. On the way back towards the town we were walking into the sun and I have chosen only to emphasise the darks in this picture to show St Andrews in Silhouette from the West Sands. A mildly abstracted St Andrews for Abstract Thursday.
We had a walk round town the took Maeve back to the car where she stayed while Apothecary7 and I went and had some lunch. Afterwards we went back to the car and took Maeve for another walk before we came back home.
