Many Weathers

We spent some of the day avoiding the rain but it seemed to follow us wherever we went in the lakes. We decided to have fun on a couple of the more challenging roads so took the Wrynose Pass and then the Hardknott Pass. Both are fabulous roads and we stopped when the views were just too good to miss and jumped out in the rain. The scenery was stunning of course but keeping the rain off the lens front element was a constant challenge.

A lovely lunch in a pub by the fire (Annie was adopted by the pub dog!!) we could have stayed all afternoon but eventually set off home. Back through the passes we had rain and hail with the temperature rapidly dropping. Wouldn't want to be caught up there in the wrong conditions.
