Lycaena salsustius, Coastal copper
My first one.
Blipmate alerted me to this one on the walkway round the estuary this morning. You go, you've got the better zoom she said. I hadn't seen them last year either when she was discovering them.
Then we saw a group of three on the Muehlenbeckia australis also known as pohuehue.I know what I'm looking for now and where.
Very little needed doing to this other than a little cropping. It made up for the lack of spoonbills.
One extra not so well focused.
