Bee illuminated
My most rushed blip ever I think. Thanks to The Aphid for suggesting Illuminate for Mono Monday.
The Museum Trust Board always put on a Christmas afternoon tea for the volunteers. This year they rang in the changes with holding it at the alternative cinema in town The Gecko Theatre. You get to sit in arm chairs and can have drinks and eats while watching the movie which we did.
The movie was the 2003 "Love Actually- is all around". I hadn't seen it which was good. Lots of good songs, poor acting by good actors, some risque stuff that got lots of hoots from the older brigade and it went down a treat. There were nine story lines that culminated in a musical like finale. The only trouble was it went for 2hours 15 minutes and I hadn't got my blip so I dashed to the Sanctuary Ponds to catch the last of the light on this shrub with busy bees. Then home to cook tea and phew. I can relax.
I gave it some treatment in lightroom- Antique Light and over sharpened to get the bees fur looking "illuminated".
The shrub is a mass of flowers. They are creamy white on a shrub with oak like leaves which are pale yellow and green. If you know the name of it I would like to know.
