Self Portrait in Tarnished Green

AKA a dirty silver spoon.

The neighbour had a garage sale in preparation for his move overseas. I bought six of his silver spoons and a crystal vase for Ruth, whose birthday morning tea I forgot because I'm the kind of person that needs things written down and I was driving when invited. The spoons are in need of a polish. The vase looks good, though.

There is aggressive shouting coming from the back yard of another neighbour. I don't miss that life...
