Winners!

I spent most of the day cooking the veggie option (spinach & mushroom lasagne) plus 50 baked potatoes for the quiz evening we were to attend in support of Cancer Support France. Others were baking another 50 potatoes, and making a huge pot of chilli, then we found that the salle de fetes had been double booked and we were given a different venue on the other side of Saintes.
We hoped everyone would find the event, and it seemed everyone did, and a nice evening was had by all. Even better was that our team won!
We were called 'The Suffragettes' because Caroline and Richard (in the photo) and their spouses had gone to see the film the previous evening, but had gone into the wrong screening and watched Far From The Madding Crowd instead, not realising straight away as the same actress was in both!
