Dunedin

We are staying in Dunedin for over a week and it's way different from Queenstown. Dunedin is a Scottish city and it's more of a college town so the population is younger. The houses are either concrete or panel which typically is more of the richer side. And the poor side is made of concrete with brick which are made in Dunedin. The reason why you don't want brick is because there are a lot of earthquakes there. Also Dunedin is a fairly larger city for New Zealand with 125,000 people and 20,000 students. It is the location of New Zealand's first castle, the Larnach Castle. The castle is a Scottish castle and on the inside it is absolutely beautiful. Everything is made up of wood and stained glass. Dunedin is also home of the worlds steepest resident street! The people here were very nice, but I definitely did meet some rude drunks. One of my favorite things I did there was learning rugby from the famous Cheese. Also the famous Cadbury Chocolate Factory is located there. There is so much to do here in Dunedin!
