First day in Thailand!

The bombing of Paris happened and our church service was dedicated to Paris and for our safety abroad. After the church service our tour guides Sak and Noom were teaching us about Thai culture. Thailand is the land of smile and they actually have the longest true name of a country. You can only speak good things about the king or else pay the consequences, but Sak stressed that it also comes from the heart that they only speak good things about the king. Thailand is also a very polite society, so in order to be extra polite, after everything you say the girls say kha and the boys say krup. If I were to send my greetings to someone I would say Sawa Dee Kha and the boys would say Sawa Dee Krup. Speaking of language, the native and number one language in Thailand is Thai. Their currency is the Thai Baht. I'm super excited to actually go out and experience Thailand!
