Shining

We got a letter home two weeks ago inviting us into school for the headteacher's special awards assembly, in which P was receiving an award. I've been so excited and today was the day! The grandparents all came too which made it extra special.

P looked so tiny up on the stage, in front of all the other parents and children. She stood so confidently though as the headteacher presented her with a certificate. She was one of only two children from her class to get an award and we were all so proud! The head teacher said "p always sets an excellent example with her perfect behaviour," and "p is making great progress in all areas of the curriculum and is especially shining in her writing". It's always nice to hear things like this but especially in front of a room full of others! Way to go P!

We then carried on the celebrations with tea at a local pub. P&A had a good run about in the play area and the adults all got to have a good chat.
