Snow, Sunshine and Shadows

It started snowing after midnight and woke up to a snowy day :)  It's been cold but so calm a d plenty of sunshine this morning.  It dulled down this afternoon but clear skies again tonight.

I was up earlier when I saw it had snowed more during the night.  Me and Sammy got out walkies right away to enjoy the day.  We had a good walk around Scalloway this morning and spent most of the day there.  I popped along friends Brian and Madeline's in the afternoon for a cuppa and more walkies with Sammy.  A quiet evening so far.  I went for a walk with mam, Elise and Sammy this evening.  Might head out later to a friend's birthday party. 

Lovely to have a snow day and the first snow of this winter.  It makes it even better when there's sunshine too :)  The low winter sun was casting shadows in various places.  Me and Sammy were walking up Houll Road and the the trees were casting long shadows over the roads.  Taken looking down the Creek, Scalloway.
