Post Office

Had a pleasant but muddy walk down by the river then walked home through the village.
Past the old post office yard that is now private dwellings.
The post office moved to Station Road many years ago. I guess it was when the railway came to the village and footfall changed.
We are now entering a new era as our post office closes for good at the end of December, the couple who have run it for many years are retiring. Luckily the business is transferring to a local convenience store so we will still have the service. Unlike many other villages that have lost their post office for good.
