Is that too much to as for?

ABC Of Troon - D is for Darley.

The Darley Links is one of the three municipal courses in Troon alongside, the Fullarton and the Lochgreen.    We also have the Portland, and the Royal, and the Kilmarnock Barassie, the Dundonald Links, and the Kilmarnock Links. 

I don't play golf. 

But what the municipal links do provide, is a lovely backdrop to my cycle in the morning (when I do it - haven't been on my bike for over a month)   The first quarter of my cycle runs the right hand of the Darley here, the next 2 miles touches on Lochgreen and Fullarton - Along one side of it or the other.  At one point I have Lochgreen, Portland and Royal.   I always like to make a lot of noise and fart a lot when I go past the Royal.

When I was little, beyond the right hand of this photo was a field, that field was my playground.  I would quite often be found, laying in the grass next to the railway line (which separated the field and the golf course) where I could lay, quite content for hours, by myself, and squeal, "FOUR", or "SEVEN" or "THREE" at passing golfers. 

Oh life was simple then, and oh so enjoyable.
