Where land meets sea

One of my current favourite spots - Illeraigh is a deserted baile (old farming community) on Baleshare and this image is where it meets the sea. What you can see in this image used to be arable farming land until storms in the 1850s broke through and created the saltings above. An old wall that was part of a cattle fold - and still in the local oral tradition - can just be seen in the sand if you zoom right in.
After rain and hail yesterday, today dawned beautifully clear and almost spring like. It won't last!
