A road to nowhere?

My usual lazy sleepy Sunday morning while Clickychick was out walking with a friend and a dog.  As a result by lunch time I had nothing in the camera and no ideas of what to take a shot of.

The recycling was in desperate need of emptying so we decided that had to be the afternoon's first job.  We could have the paper,glass, tins and plastic collected from the kerb but the village recycling provides funds for a number of good causes.  Since the village recycling point stopped having a cage for plastics we have been taking ours to the tip recycling centre a couple of miles down the road.

So we had a run out there getting rid of some metal and broken electrical items at the same time.  On the way back we stopped to have a walk up this farm lane which has provided blips before.  It was dull and over cast and we found nothing exciting.  The result is a shot of the lane in the one burst of weak sunshine which occurred just as we got near the car again.
