Fieldfare.

Just lately we have been having a run of birds which are rare (well rare to our garden).  Today Clickychick spotted this Fieldfare feeding on the remaining Crab Apples.

The hedges all round us have masses of Fieldfares each year but they rarely stray into the garden and then generally only in really hard weather.  The last was a number of years ago I think.

While CC used the cat flap (having her long lens on already) to quickly fitted mine and dashed up stairs.  So this shot is through glass and needed quite a high ISO hence the "noise".
