A Day of Thanks

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.  1 Chronicles 16:34

We had a Thanksgiving service at church today, with the little ones doing most of the hour. I know I'm a little prejudiced, but Merrick was my favorite. That is his friend Abby giving thanks next to him. After the service, we had a potluck.

It was nice to have my daughter Karen and S-I-L Doug in church with us today. After eating, Doug and I washed and dried most of the dishes, including one thousand pieces of silverware (I exaggerate...maybe closer to three hundred.) Our hands were very clean, but prune-like.

In the extras is the oldest bass-playing guitar player in America...my Dad Jim.
