The church tower

In need of a repaint the local church group are organising fund raising events throughout the year. Situated here on the corner it's open to the elements and today is no exception with hail stones battering it and me a few minutes after taking this.

Info from the Internet: The Parish of Kilninian and Kilmore covers the north-west corner of Mull and its largest centre of population is the village of Dervaig, about seven miles west of Tobermory. The present-day Kilmore Church is situated in Dervaig at the junction with the road to Salen.

The church, although not an ancient building, is noteworthy for its round tower, the beauty of its stained glass, and the interior decoration which is in the style made popular by the Arts and Crafts movement.
