This is a lovely old black house in our village which has been renovated in recent years and is now a lovely little holiday cottage. It has been renovated quite sympathetically using mainly traditional materials. It does not have a thatched roof however as it had a corrugated iron roof before it was renovated and the planners insisted on it being replaced with the modern equivalent, its a bit of a shame really as it would be even more appealing with a traditional thatched roof
