Had a lovely overnight stay in Inverness with friends, lots of laughs, good food and a few drinks as well! Leisurely start to the day with an enormous cooked breakfast, a quick food shop and then started the 2 1/2 hour drive home.

We took the north road home which took us through Garve, achnasheen and strathcarron before joining up with the main road to Skye again. We usually take this road in the summer time as the other road, which takes you past Loch Ness, gets very busy with tourists and the drive can be very slow.

Anyway, I don't know the name of this loch but I loved the darkness of the water and the different colours on the hill.
