A Cambridge Heron

This lovely painted bird resides on a door at the side of a church between Jimmy's and my Eye Clinic in Cambridge. The rain was too torrential last time I visited for me to want to stop and take a photo.

Still not the loveliest of days but my new tinted lenses are brilliant and I'm still gutted I'm not allowed to drive in them. I have to get a boring colour of polarised tint in my varifocals! 

Mum came with me as she hasn't even started Christmas shopping yet so I walked her along to the Grafton Centre for an hour afterwards and managed to pick up a few stocking fillers myself too :)
