The Globe

I posted a picture taken from outside this pub a while ago and must now confess that I have indeed been inside. It is one of those little changed small pubs in the centre of town. A sloping floor is one of its unique features. It was the venue for the first CAMRA meeting in Liverpool in 1975 and still serves excellent real ales. Kitty, seen here, has worked behind the bar for as long as I can remember and was really pleased to see Phil who used to work for the tenants' co-op of which Kitty is a member.
