Dean Cemetery
Following yesterday's work-related news today was a day of industrial action in support of colleagues in England whose workplaces are to close next year and the concern about the impact of this on students. I was in Edinburgh anyway and had a walk to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (Two), a building which is blipworthy in its own right. Next to the Gallery lies the Dean Cemetery which opened in the 1840s. As well as being the burial place of some quite distinguished people it is a lovely parkland open to visitors. It's beautifully laid out and kept.
