Rice terraces

After a bum-numbingly long bus ride from Kunming (a common theme on this trip) we arrived in Yuanyuang. You may recognise this scene of the rice terraces from 'Wild China'. I can't explain how beautiful this place was. You can spend all day roaming round the mountains, getting lifts from strangers here and there, watching the sun bounce off the water in the terraces from different angles throughout the day.
