Popham

Beach Day!! We met up with Mom & Dad, Sonya and the kiddos to spend the day at Popham Beach. It was a GORGEOUS day and we had a great time.

The boys brought their surf rods and attempted to fish off the island. The tide was incoming and it didn't take long until the beach walk out to the island was a wade/swim walk back. BJ and Dad were not in swim trunks and needless to say, they were a bit uncomfortable on the ride home with salty, damp shorts.

The kids played in the sand with Lydia and we soon discovered that Solo cups are great tools for sand castle building. The girls enjoyed jumping over the waves along the shore - Lydia was glad that Kaylee was there for support though!

I just love watching my family enjoy the summer sunshine and warmth! I'm looking forward to many more family days like today!
