Christmas Diet

I visited the Edinburgh Christmas market today, it was fairly busy but not too crowded, going mid afternoon during the week gives you a good opportunity to see everything without it being mobbed (and it is still only November). 

It's pretty much the same as last year, although I noticed they have expanded onto the top of Princes Street Mall with "Reindeer Land", mostly kiddie rides with a couple food shacks.

They have a new bar area on The Mound, last year it was an old carousel with the horses acting as tables, it looked good but was open air and rather chilly, this year they've built a "bothy" so it's indoors, I didn't go in but it looked quite cosy inside, unfortunately it doesn't sell any decent beer, all the bars at Edinburgh Christmas (and there's quite a few!) sell the same cheap beers :-(
