The Heron's Beat

Most of the herons I encounter stand on the river banks with majestic scenery around.   On the Tweed the water flows fast - and often turbulent.   But this chap prefers the very humdrum Cuddy Burn flowing through the back streets and alleys of the town.    I'm sure there's method, though, in his eccentric choice.
