Balance needed

This week has gone by in a blur of work and not enough sleep. We are back in survival mode at home eating takeaways and struggling to put a wash on etc.

Let's face it if I'm busy nothing gets done. And I am so blinking busy.

Kind of lost sight of why I am working so hard actually (other than to bring the mortgage in). I am literally crawling towards Christmas with my arms outstretched.

Had lunch with a client slash friend in Alderley just now and we ended up both whinging about how hard the balance is with motherhood and works Managed to sneak a visit to a nail salon in which felt really decadent but was it was nice to do something for me.

Spoke to another friend on the phone this morning too who I haven't seen in months (wouldn't mind but one of reasons I was happy about living in Wilmslow was because she would be closer).

Something needs to give. Enough is enough. Balance. I need balance again....
