Vestmannaeyjar

After frantically trying to arrange for transport to Vestmannaeyjar after our original plan fell through we made it to the island. Instead of flying there we took a scenic bus ride and ferry which turned out to be very pleasant. This picture was taken on the ferry of a very cute Icelandic boy trying to get a better look at the passing cliff sides.
We reached our picturesque campsite nestled in the crater left by an extinct volcano and set up our tents. After a nutritious dinner of PB & J we hiked up the mountain and watched the sunrise/sunset alongside some sheep. It was a good day.
